| Zeus on Young Street |

Young Street, a WFAA program that airs Saturdays, did a two minute segment about Zeus Comics using clever copy like "a cornucopia of comic book culture" or "You might call it the super-hero generation." About 2:30 into the program, see Richard and Barry and one second of me smacking my gum.
And then we have Scott Kurtz on Conan last night. Triumph the Insult Comic Dog visited his booth at SDCC. That's how you know you've made it! |

aw, look at you! cool piece, i love that there are lawyers and doctors and people like that reading comics again. of course, us designers most likely never stopped!
I dig them showing "War is Hell" when Richard mentions "From Hell." Also, couldn't they have pulled back a little and shown more of the store? Gah.
Cool, though. Glad it's up.
Chew that gum, go on, smack it! Taste it! Oooh baby. Etc.
I'm thinking of Neon Neon's Sweat Shop, only with, like, gum.
Nothing like free publicity. Congrats!
I would have loved to see the video start with, "They're calling them comic books."
what, not enough real clientele milling about during the filming (did the camera crew scare them off)? Or were you like Lucy, trying to get Ricky to let you be in the show?
There were plenty of customers, but he needed someone thin and gorgeous.
Ah...two things you can never be too much of. Or is that rich and thin?
Aww, I've got Richard, Barry and Chris in HD on my TV... nice. | |
